摘要: Organ motion is a substantial concern in the treatment of thoracic tumours using radiotherapy. A number technologies have evolved order to address this both during computed tomography (CT) imaging and radiation delivery. This review paper investigates various which been developed field CT scanning as well their accuracy, cost implications clinical implementation. The modalities covered include: slow CT, breath hold gated retrospectively correlated (4DCT). It was found that there are advantages drawbacks each mentioned techniques relating patient dose, scan time, extra equipment workload. Also some only compatible with certain would further influence decision implement.
