摘要: Abstract The trophic influence of nerve on muscle was investigated by studying the effect transecting sciatic or its branches at various distances from extensor digitorum longus and soleus muscles. If rate which responds to denervation were related level transection, a neurotrophic mechanism would have be postulated, because operation abolishes such non-neurotrophic factors as neuromuscular transmission activity. partial membrane depolarization fibers spread extrajunctional sensitivity acetylcholine occurred much sooner when transected near than it farther away. These changes preceded disappearance spontaneous miniature endplate potentials, thus indicating that quantal release is not responsible for maintenance resting potential distribution receptors in innervated muscle. An increase transmitter observed prior potentials. This increase, reflects prejunctional membrane, cut We therefore conclude both postjunctional are regulated neurohumoral, mechanism.
