摘要: Rate constants for the rotational excitation of HCN by collisions with He atoms at temperatures below 100 K were computed from first principles and are presented in tabular form. The potential energy surface was obtained using uniform electron gas model Gordon Kim (1972) then joined smoothly to asymptotic long-range perturbation theory valid large separations. Quantum close-coupling used analyze collision dynamics.
