摘要: Children with autism spectrum condition (ASC) suffer from deficits or developmental delays in symbolic thinking. In particular, they are often found lacking pretend play during early childhood. Researchers believe that encounter difficulty generating and maintaining mental representation of pretense coupled the immediate reality. We have developed an interactive system explores potential Augmented Reality (AR) technology to visually conceptualize within open-ended environment. Results empirical study involving children ASC aged 4 7 demonstrated a significant improvement terms frequency, duration relevance using AR comparison non computer-assisted situation. investigated individual differences, skill transfer, usability limitations proposed system. discuss design guidelines for future systems other pervasive disorders.
