Structural and Dielectric Studies on Dy3+ Doped Alkaliborate Glasses

摘要: Alkali borate glasses doped with trivalent dysprosium were prepared by following melt quenching technique the chemical composition (50 − x)B2O3 + 20Li2O 20LiF 10BaO xDy2O3 varying concentration of rare-earth dopant (where x = 0.01, 0.1, 1, 2 and 3 mol %). The structural analyses have been carried out using FTIR spectra. fundamental stretching vibrations various network (BO3 BO4 groups) indentified reported. dielectric constant (\( \varepsilon^{\prime} \)) loss \varepsilon^{\prime\prime} Dy3+ ions alkali studied as a function frequency temperature. AC conductivity measurements \( \) values temperature are found to be maximum for 1 % glass. is obey universal power law explain electrical conduction in glasses. value parameters increase upto after that it decrease.
