摘要: Cross-sectional studies have suggested age-related differences in decision-making competence, but these may also reflect cohort-related effects. We present a longitudinal study of changes over 5 years older adults (aged 60-85) for 3 important aspects competence: resistance to framing, applying decision rules, and sunk costs. The findings show small declines framing no decline rules or results indicate that individuals' competence after is significantly related their initial assessment the contribution crystallized abilities making greater than previously thought.
