The results of 865 inferior alveolar nerve injections with different concentrations procaine (using epinephrine, 1:50,000, or Neosynephrine, 1:2,500, as vasoconstrictor) for mandibular extractions, were analyzed. 2. Using vasoconstrictor, it was found that 1.5 per cent effective 2 4 extractions. One less than the higher concentrations. 3. and procaine. 4. one-half may be more extractions 1:2,500. 5. theoretical possibility poorer technique on part students compared instructors could not have influenced obtained in this study.
