摘要: Abstract Animal feeding has been identified to be a key factor in environmental sustainability. For this reason, by carrying out life cycle assessment, investigation is focused on studying the performance of production Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz as feedstock for animal meal Spanish Mediterranean soils. Experiments five non-irrigated plots were conducted applying different crop management practices: herbicide pre-emergence (P1), post-emergence (P2), P mineral fertilization (P3), P + N (P4), and compost (P5). The press cake consisted two processes, seed pressing. Results showed that represents, average, 88% total impacts all treatments. main differences allocated practices. In systems P1 P2, where no fertilizers added, field operation soil tillage responsible impacts, mainly due diesel fuel consumption exhaust gas emissions generated engine tractors. On other hand, P3, P4 P5, process contributed significantly increase impacts. However, it noted could exhibit less than if avoided burdens considered. sense, application regarded way promoting waste valorization.
