摘要: Progress in optical networking has stimulated interest performance monitoring (OPM), particularly regarding signal quality measures such as signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), Q-factor, and dispersion. These advanced methods have the potential to extend fault management quality-of-service (QoS) into domain. This paper reviews OPM applications techniques, while examining role of an enabling technology for advances high-speed optically switched networks.
