摘要: BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Growth hormone deficiency may present as an isolated deficit (IGHD) or in association with multiple deficiencies (MPHD). Previous studies have not compared the MR imaging findings severity of hypopituitarism. Our purpose was to determine whether can distinguish between IGHD and MPHD. METHODS: Forty-four patients growth who were examined by included this retrospective study. On basis endocrinologic findings, 21 determined 23 The presence, size, location, morphologic characteristics stalk, neurohypophysis, adenohypophysis recorded each case. Findings two groups compared. Statistical significance t-test. RESULTS: stalk normal one patient none those MPHD; it truncated thin 19 (90%) only MPHD (4%); absent 22 (96%) (5%). These differences highly significant. In 81% 91% location neurohypophysis ectopic. This difference Among patients, size 13 (62%), small six (29%), (9%); corresponding seven (30%), (26%), 10 (44%). CONCLUSION: majority had a adenohypophysis. An are characteristic contribute prediction pattern hypopituitarism deficiency.
