Charitable giving inside and outside the workplace: the role of individual and firm characteristics

摘要: Over the past several decades, charitable solicitations in workplace have played an increasing role fundraising strategies of nonprofit organizations. Although many studies examined factors that influence overall giving, very few focused on giving when asked to donate workplace. This paper examines determinants and outside addition individual firm-level characteristics. The study is based one largest surveys including unique information both for 6000 employees USA. Specific uniquely An employee's personal level confidence sector strongly likely donations. At firm level, organization's size industry also affect presence campaigns trends.
