摘要: Activated carbons were prepared with sugar cane bagasse (BC) and corn cob (ZM) to adsorb aqueous cadmium lead. BC ZM carbonized at 400°C for 1 hour, activated phosphoric acid modified nitric or hydrogen peroxide subsequent heating. Activation increased the surface area of (5 m2/g 778 3 369 BC). Oxygenated groups analyzed by IR-DRIFTS. The acidity was between 1.36 2.12 meq/g, pH 2.9 6.5, ion exchange capacities up 0.070 meq/g (atomic absorption).
