Distribution of Void in Packed Tube

摘要: The purpose of this paper is to report the distribution void in packed single and double tube as function radius, was observed our experiments.The paking used crushed calcium carbonate, prepared by passing curbon dioxide over slaked lime. packing set with paraffin, taken out tube. a rod-like shape, which, then, pared off thin uniform thickness divided into certain unmber various fractions. Each fraction dissolved hydro-chloric acid, so that volume occupied might be known from quantity excessive hydrochloric acid employed, thus enabling us calculate each fraction.The results experiments are shown Figs. 1 2.Two parts were exist, one having effect wall, other constant value free wall effect.The experimental equations Eqs (3) (4), (8).
