“Etiquette and magic”: Between embedding and embedded corporate social responsibility

摘要: This article looks at corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a discursive practice that attempts to interrogate the global market economy and its neoliberal underpinnings reflects well frames shapes domestic politics institutions. Drawing upon Karl Polanyi’s notions of reciprocity redistribution while also emphasizing normative content concept, inquires into position CSR discourse occupies in addressing transnational risks derived from tensions conflicts more generally, answering expectations for justice. The Polanyian perspective highlights quest missing conceptual consistency implicitly, constructive “critical” core. From this perspective, shows reside within controversial boundaries; engages with aspiration embedding society it is need reclaiming critical core potential change.
