Median compression neuropathy at wrist level can cause hand numbness, paresthesia, tingling, pain and motor weakness. Several surgical techniques have been described to release transverse carpal ligament (TCL) decompress underlying median nerve. Although, open (OCTR) remains gold standard technique of care for decompression, alternative minimally invasive introduced order avoid certain postoperative complications related OCTR.
