摘要: Glycosphingolipids (GSLs) play a key role in various biological and pathological events. Thus, determination of the complete GSL compositions human tissues is essential for comparative functional studies GSLs. In this work, new strategy was developed characterization glycolipidomics analysis based on two-stage matching experimental reference MS/MS spectra. first stage, carbohydrate fragments, which contain only glycans thus are conserved within species, directly matched to yield species identification. second glycolipid fragments from both lipid shift due structural changes, treated according rule-based characterize compositions. This uses whole spectrum characterization. Furthermore, simple databases containing single form per can be utilized identify multiple forms.
