The objective this study was describe parental knowledge and practices regarding position, bedsharing, pacifier use, feeding before after receipt free crib education. Bedtime Basics for Babies (BBB) enrolled high-risk families Washington, Indiana, DC provided them with cribs Parents completed surveys (“prenatal” “postnatal”) 1–3 months (“follow-up”). Descriptive bivariate analyses were completed. 3,303 prenatal, 1,483 postnatal, 1,729 follow-up collected. Parental recommended position improved from 76 % (prenatal) 77 (postnatal) 94 (p < 0.001). Intended use supine positioning increased 84 80 87 the intervention only 8 intended bedshare when asked prenatally, 38 receiving infant’s birth reported that they had bedshared night before.
