摘要: The urine from dogs which had received S(-)-pentobarbital yielded two crystalline metabolites fractions obtained by partition column chromatography. structures of the major were found to be 5-ethyl-5-[39-(S)-hydroxy-19(S) methylbutyl] and 5-ethyl-5-[39(R)-hydroxy-19(S) barbituric acids with latter compound present in larger amounts. significance amounts metabolite relation conformation S(-)-and R(+)-pentobarbitals is discussed.
