摘要: Abstract An account is given of the theory that a crystalline or non-crystalline array atoms will make transition from metallic to non-metallic state as interatomic distance varied. Experimental evidence relevant summarized. Wigner's (1938) suggestion an electron gas might crystallize at sufficiently low densities examined, and experiment suggested by which it be tested.
