Monolayer behaviour in bulk ReS 2 due to electronic and vibrational decoupling

摘要: Monolayers of transition metal dichalcogenides have emerged as interesting two-dimensional materials. Here, the authors show that in a new member this family compounds, rhenium disulphide, layers bulk are vibrationally and electronically decoupled, so they behave almost monolayers.
