Optical constants of Ge-Sb-Se-I chalco-halide glasses using a single reflectance spectrum

摘要: Abstract Chalco-halide glasses possess a low weak absorption tail in the atmospheric IR windows. They have improved optical properties, particularly broadening mid-infrared cutoff. In this work, we report synthesis of iodine doped Ge25Sb10Se65-xIx (x = 0, 4, 8, 12, 16) system. The behaviour has been analysed using single reflection spectrum. spectrum obtained an ultraviolet-visible-near-infrared spectrophotometer for wavelength 400 nm–2500 nm. static refractive index shown increase from 2.76 (x = 0) to 3.33 (x = 16). dispersive is found be normal all samples. values Urbach energy show structural disorder. A decrease band gap observed with addition amount. third-order non-linear susceptibility semi-empirical method increases content.
