摘要: The current interest in linear modulation and multilevel signals has resulted an emphasis on DSP implementations to achieve precision signal manipulation. However, most transceivers, direct conversion designs particular, rely analog of the quadrature modulator demodulator, thereby sacrificing much gained through DSP. present paper focuses three principal impairments modulators demodulators: gain imbalance, phase DC offset. contains main contributions. First is analysis quantitative assessment losses-primarily a degraded BER out-of-band power transmitted signal-due imbalances offsets. second contribution adaptive compensation technique for at transmitter, third demodulator receiver.
