摘要: A modular solid state light apparatus ideally suited for use in traffic control signals. Current of the art signals are sealed units which fit into existing signal cases once primary lens and incandescent bulb, sometimes even reflector, removed. The system replaces entire case with a custom designed to accommodate current future features at approximately 1/10the present cost stand alone system. These upgrade include but not limited vehicle preemption, electronically steerable beam, predicitve failure analysis, various power supplies, LED arrays colors, optical alignment tools used installation, video camera, car Telematics, loop detection, red running, communications links, infrared sensors sense people vehicles under fog, rain smoke, other adverse visual conditions, chemical 'sniffers', automobile emission monitoring, adaptive control. functions adapted be selectively added upgraded over life signal, permitting easy service thereof.
