摘要: Multiplex (+/-) stranded analyses, such as array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH), are provided for detecting chromosomal rearrangements associated with cancer and other diseases. For example, an illustrative multiplex CGH includes discrete plus (+) strand minus (-) DNA probes, complementary to each but separable on the array. The probes recover diagnostic information lost conventional microarrays, since many genes transcribe from strand. In system, patient control samples prepared by amplification labeling using comprehensive primers that generate both strands of in samples. breakpoints a translocated chromosome may be detected microarray one polarity, while copy number changes translocation region corresponding polarity.
