Optical constants of Zn1−xLixO films prepared by chemical bath deposition technique

摘要: Abstract Zn1−xLixO films of different Li concentrations x = 0.0 – 0.5 were successfully deposited on glass substrates using chemical bath deposition (CBD) technique. Optical properties the studied extensively in wavelength range 190–800 nm from measurements optical transmittance (T) and reflectance (R). The mechanism absorption follows rule direct allowed transition. Both energy gap Eg coefficient ( α ) found to be concentration-dependent. refractive index values have been fitted single-oscillator models. obtained for Eo are consistent with results. dependence constants ZnO photon h ν at selected discussed. exponential as a function incident suggests that Urbach is obeyed indicated formation band tail. It was decreases increasing content; other hand tail width exhibits opposite behaviour.
