摘要: In December 2016, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Board Directors approved ASCO Strategic Plan to Increase Racial and Ethnic Diversity in Workforce. Developed through a multistakeholder effort led by Health Disparities Committee, purpose plan is guide formal efforts this area over next three years (2017 2020). There are primary goals: (1) establish longitudinal pathway for increasing workforce diversity, (2) enhance leadership (3) integrate focus on diversity across programs policies. Improving quality cancer care United States requires recruitment oncology professionals from diverse backgrounds. The Workforce designed existing create new opportunities that will move us closer vision achieving an reflects demographics US population it serves.
