摘要: Imaging spectroscopy, also known as hyperspectral remote sensing, is based on the characterization of Earth surface materials and processes through spectrally-resolved measurements light interacting with matter. The potential imaging spectroscopy for sensing has been demonstrated since 1980s. However, most developments applications in have largely relied airborne spectrometers, amount quality space-based data remain relatively low to date. upcoming Environmental Mapping Analysis Program (EnMAP) German mission intended fill this gap. An overview main characteristics current status provided contribution. core payload EnMAP consists a dual-spectrometer instrument measuring optical spectral range between 420 2450 nm sampling distance varying 5 12 reference signal-to-noise ratio 400:1 visible near-infrared 180:1 shortwave-infrared parts spectrum. images will cover 30 km-wide area across-track direction ground m. tilted observation capability enable target revisit time up four days at Equator better high latitudes. contribute development exploitation spaceborne by making high-quality freely available scientific users worldwide.
