摘要: We observe and analyze a considerable enhancement of photoelectron intensity the valence band features in solid B2O3 upon tuning photon energy across B 1s → π*2pz resonance. This is an evidence strong 2p electron correlations pre-edge photoionization dynamics boron oxide. Such strength correlation unusual for solid, whose composed only s p electrons. assign these effects to spatial localization highest occupied lowest unoccupied electronic states oxide on BO33- quasimolecular anion, as well coupling between them. Solid state structure π* decay are found be minor, while molecular fragment dominating.
