摘要: This study evaluates inorganic pigments for improving carbon steel (CS) brine-corrosion protection by the sodium metasilicate-activated calcium aluminate cement/Fly Ash blend at 300°C. Calcium borosilicate (CBS) and zinc phosphate, significantly improved CS corrosion-protection decreasing cement’s permeability corrosive ions inhibiting anodic corrosion. An amorphous Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2-H2O phase tightly attached to surface formed 300oC in CBS-modified cement pore solution. The corrosion rate of covered with this was nearly 4-fold lower than case nonmodified solution where major on crystalline analcime.
