摘要: Dryland sustainability is a challenging global concern because of the comparatively low natural and socioeconomic carrying capacities. Land degradation neutrality goal in drylands, for which ecological restoration has to transcend scale land degradation. Actions on are prevalent drylands driving changes ecosystem services across local regional scales. This paper focuses Chinese Loess Plateau as typical dryland region experiencing decades restoration. The research progress multiscale monitoring, assessment, modelling driven by succinctly reviewed. To enhance bridging capability service science among integrity resilience, sustainable livelihood, adaptive landscape management, framework proposed considering goals, ecosystems, systems, multidimensional systematic interactions. Under this framework, gaps further critical themes discussed advancing oriented drylands.
