Multicomponent flow injection based analysis with diode array detection and partial least squares multivariate calibration evaluation. Rapid determination of Ca(II) and Mg(II) in waters and dialysis liquids

摘要: Flow injection analysis (FIA) with multiwavelength scanning of the FIA peaks using a diode array detector (DAD) has been combined multivariate calibration approach applying partial least squares (PLS) method for data evaluation. In this way, various side effects like dilution reagent, high blank, absorbance changes due to pH gradient throughout peak and/or other interferences can be accounted for. Thus, even simple manifold instrumentation satisfactory results multicomponent are obtained. The described checked on binary (Ca and Mg) ternary (Ca, Mg Cu) mixtures pyridylazo resorcinol (PAR) as reagent applied rapid determination calcium magnesium in dialysis liquids waters.
