摘要: Traditional IR techniques, systems, and methods that assume an individual searcher are often shown to be inadequate for addressing search problems multi-faceted and/or too complex or difficult individuals. The next big leap in information seeking/retrieval could happen by considering social collaborative aspects of search. In this half-day tutorial, concept, along with some the foundational works latest developments field seeking (CIS) will presented. Specifically, course introduce student theories, methodologies, tools focus on retrieval/seeking collaboration. have opportunity learn about aspect a CIS situations, evaluation techniques. three hours divided as: (1) introduction group-based models, approaches, systems; (2) back-end systems system-focused mediation front-end user-focused mediation; (3) systems/approaches, prediction recommendations IR, future directions. attendees given course-pack include reference list, annotated bibliography seminal field, depictions relevant models/frameworks.
