摘要: This community study on headache in Malaysia was based IHS diagnostic criteria and showed the last-year prevalence of migraine 9.0%. Migraine with aura accounted for only 10.6% migrainous population. The tension 26.5% (94.4% episodic, 5.6% chronic) 28.2% other types headache. No case cluster found. Almost two thirds subjects graded their headaches as severe, while almost 60% 70% mild. Overall, there higher females headache, males lower among those younger than 15 older 65 years age. significant differences were found different racial groups nor urban versus rural population. All shared same triggering factors suggesting that physiological characteristics are responsible type pain suffered. In location this its tropical climate, attributed to sun exposure 51.9% subjects, 55.7% 36.6% group headaches.
