摘要: The structure of quasi-2d solutions dipolar superballs in the fluid state has been determined by Metropolis Monte Carlos simulations absence and presence an external field. Superballs are 3d objects characterized a one shape parameter. Here, resembling cubes, but possessing rounded edges, have used. Examination made for several magnitudes dipole moment three different directions. In limit cube, directions become (i) center mass – face (001) direction, (ii) edge (011) (iii) corner (111) direction. At small moment, translationally orientationally disordered, dipoles partially ordered field parallel to plane superballs. large chains formed, remain separated 001-direction form bundles 011- 111-directions. structures obtained interpreted terms how compatible dipole–dipole interaction is with cube–cube at short separation moment. Hence, structural richness arises from interplay symmetries cube dipole.
