摘要: Abstract Fused iron catalyst is an active and classical both for ammonia synthesis Fischer-Tropsch which are two typical industrial processes. As it of significance to catalysis science as well its importance industry, fused ideal model system heterogeneous research. However, the precursors catalysts were confined Fe3O4 in most studies. The discovery wustite (Fe1-xO) based a key innovation necessitates further research obtain deeper insight into this novel catalyst. This paper summarized three major scientific issues involved development catalyst, namely, physicochemical properties, characteristics wustite, mechanism leading high activity. Based on new concepts opinions proposed, insights principles obtained follow. Hump like activity trend reduced was first with varying Fe2+/Fe3+ precursor. Molecular ratio oxides, single phase theory structure sites suggested elucidate In addition, such disproportionation metastable inhibition, matching promoters structural synergy between acidic site basic surface role Al2O3 re-structuring surface, competitive reduction, strong H2 adsorption, sites, micro-structure α-Fe essence proposed bring light structure-activity relationship forming kernel These regularities significantly promoted enriched knowledge It unexpected that improvement would have effect other fields
