摘要: This work examined the behavior of a novel zeolite augmented on electrocoagulation process (ZAEP) using an aluminum electrode in removal high-strength concentration ammonia (3471 mg/L) from landfill leachate which was saline (15.36 ppt) nature. For this, response surfaces methodology (RSM) through central composite designs (CCD) used to optimize capability treatment process. Design-Expert software (version 11.0.3) evaluate influences significant variables such as dosage (100–120 g), current density (540–660 A/m2), electrolysis duration (55–65 min), and initial pH (8–10) well percentage ammonia. It is noted that maximum reduction up 71%, estimated optimum working conditions for follows: 105 g/L, 600 A/m2, 60 min, 8.20. Furthermore, regression model indicated strong relationship between predicted values actual experimental results with high R2 0.9871. These provide evidence ability ZAEP viable alternative removing adequate salinity without use any supporting electrolyte.
