摘要: There is considerable uncertainty concerning changes in plant diversity of Chinese secondary forests, particularly with respect to recovery following anthropogenic disturbance. Here we present a meta-analysis the woody species richness forests China, nearby primary as reference. A total 125 pairs secondary-primary forest data reported 55 publications were identified across China. We analyzed by region and logging history examine their influences on recovery. Our results indicated that China was close fully recovered when compared forest, ratio being 85–103%. Higher ratios observed central, northeast southwest lower seen east, south northwest central significantly reached (reference) level. Concerning histories, showed two peak values, one at 21–40 years after clear cutting other 61–80 years. reveal fundamental patterns These provide information for sustainable management resources.
