摘要: AIM The aim of the study was to examine effectiveness intraoral thermoformed splint with a magnet device over period 3 months, that is, assess acceptability this method treatment using both objective and self-reported measures. MATERIALS AND METHODS This designed as prospective clinical pilot trial. 22 patients xerostomia hyposalivation were included. Xerostomia assessed 4-question questionnaire score test for unstimulated salivary flow rates. Evaluations performed before 3 months after device. RESULTS There significant reduction in subjective symptoms 3 months. For all 4 scored items, there statistically difference (P < .001) median VAS scores treatment. also USFR (0,15 ± 0,04 ml/min) (0,24 ± 0,03 mL/min).
