摘要: Secondary clarifiers with large areas are widely applied in wastewater treatment plants. A pilot study was conducted to examine the possibility of applying one and two-stage inclined tube settlers instead conventional secondary clarifiers. Tube diameter first stage settler wide as ones, but second stage, it narrow improve efficiency. The results indicated that short detention times, more effective shorter time than sedimentation basin, its effluent TSS turbidity acceptable discharge into surface waters. average removal TSS, BOD5, COD, a 20-minute tubes, one-stage plants 97.6%, 96.4%, 96.36%, respectively, while basin 98.2%, 99%, 98.6%, respectively. There good agreement between theoretical analyses experimental plant. Two-stage series could hydraulic condition efficiency comparison settler. removal, times one-stage, 97.8%.
