摘要: Ion chromatography (IC) coupled to inductively plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) affords a sensitive technique quantify inorganic As and Se species at trace levels; however, few studies have used the multi-element capabilities of ICP-MS as detector for chromatographic applications. Here, IC with was determine As(iii), As(v), Se(iv), Se(vi) in aqueous extracts coal fly ash. All four were resolved, retention times 1.1, 2.9, 4.8, 6.3 min Se(vi), respectively. Because all fully resulting chromatograms obtained by summing signal intensities form/z 75+m/z82. Absolute detection limits 7.2, 87, 117, 28 pg respectively, obtained, corresponding 0.072, 0.868, 1.174, 0.284 µg l–1 100 µl injection volume. The speciation 24 ash samples including NIST SRM 1633b. predominant As(v) As(iii) detected two low pH ashes. Extraction ashes 5 altered concentrations total soluble but did not affect speciation.
