摘要: Abstract : In Red-cockaded woodpeckers (RCWs) several factors have been identified that affect reproduction and cluster occupancy including both demographic habitat parameters. This report analyzes potential training effects in relation to these other parameters; fact were the best predictors of some aspects RCW reproductive success occupancy. result emphasizes importance installation managers being aware biological potentially limiting populations under their management concern tailoring monitoring plans acquire relevant data necessary evaluate all sources population limits. For installations implementing Army 1996 "Management Guide-lines for Woodpecker on Installations" estimates critical demography parameters will be available. However, based availability Fort Stewart, special emphasis should placed follow-tip banded populations. Emphasis intensive collection is probably not warranted if are adequately pre-scribed burning cavity augmentation programs. Data Stewart suggest an important factor clusters with adequate midstory control availability.
