摘要: This chapter discusses recent developments in various functional layered double hydroxides (LDHs) and their effect on flame-retardant properties of polymers. The first section describes LDH structure synthetic methodologies available to synthesize LDH. Different methods for the preparation LDH-based polymer composites are addressed. next part briefly role as a flame retardant its mechanism. Recent progress retardancy commercially important polymers based variety LDHs is described, characterization mechanism discussed. Also, synergistic effects with other retardants different described.
