摘要: Resistance of solid tumors to chemo- and radiotherapy remains a major obstacle in anti-cancer treatment. Herein, the membrane protein caveolin-1 (CAV1) came into focus as it is highly expressed many high CAV1 levels were correlated with tumor progression, invasion metastasis, thus worse clinical outcome. Increasing evidence further indicates that heterogeneous microenvironment, also known stroma, contributes therapy resistance resulting poor Again, seems play an important role modulating host interactions by promoting growth, cell survival. However, mechanisms driving stroma-mediated growth radiation remain be clarified. Understanding these thus, targeting may offer novel strategy for preventing cancer improving outcomes. In this review, we will summarize resistance-promoting effects tumors, emphasize its tumor-stroma communication well malignant phenotype epithelial tumors.
