摘要: List memory of 6 young and older human adults was tested with lists four visual items (black white patterns colored abstract paintings). We investigated the effects varying length recognition interval on serial-position function for picture in two age groups. Increases retention showed a consistent modification shape from monotonically increasing at shortest to decreasing longest interval. The time course these changes faster than adults. Age differences required shift functions recency primacy were strikingly similar those previously found between people nonhuman species.
