摘要: Vegetated filter strips (VFS) are used recently for removal, at or near the source, of sediment and sediment-bound chemicals from cropland runoff. Vegetation within flowpath increases water infiltration decreases turbulence, thus enhancing pollutant removal by sedimentation media through surface. Field experiments have been conducted to examine efficiency vegetated phosphorus runoff with 20 filters varying length (2 15 m), slope (2.3 5%), cover, including bare-soil plots as control. Artificial in this study had an average concentration 2.37 mg L(-1) a 2700 L(-1). The trapping all was 61% ranged 31% 2-m 89% 15-m filter. Filter has found be predominant factor affecting P VFS. rate inflow, type vegetation, density vegetation coverage secondary influences on removal. Short 5 which somewhat effective much less Increasing beyond m is ineffective but expected further enhance Sediment deposition, infiltration, plant adsorption primary mechanisms
