摘要: Objective To estimate the US prevalence and psychological health behavior correlates of low back pain and/or neck pain. No current national estimates exist few studies have investigated associations between pain, factors, behaviors in a representative sample community dwellers. Methods We analyzed data obtained from adults ages 18 years or older (n = 29,828) who participated 2002 National Health Interview Survey, cross-sectional, population-based survey adults. Results The 3-month was 31% (low pain: 34 million, 9 both 19 million). Generally, with reported more comorbid conditions, exhibited distress (including serious mental illness), engaged risky than without either condition. Conclusion Low are critical public problems. Our study supports idea multidimensional approach to examining problems suggests need for further research address potentially modifiable factors these populations.
