摘要: Abstract Recently, materials with enhanced electrical properties appeared as very good candidates for self-heating applications. When exploited icing prevention or deicing of roads, pavements, runways, they may bring environmental benefits do not load the environment chemicals, salts in particular. Utilization waste products instead traditional materials, such Portland cement, makes these even friendlier to environment. In this paper, three alkali-activated composed slag, water glass, aggregates, water, and carbon black an electrically conductive admixture are analyzed compared a reference one without any admixture. Experimental results show that designed have favorable combination mechanical- (compressive strength up 44 MPa flexural 9 MPa) (electrical conductivity ∼55 × 10−3 S/m) properties. Satisfactory low-voltage range exhibited well; 45 V DC heating samples can increase their temperature by 39 °C. The assessment indicates be considered promising alternatives cement-based composites similar properties, reducing dioxide production 44%.
