Burnout and depression among psychiatry residents during COVID-19 pandemic.

摘要: Very few studies have been concerned with assessing the prevalence of burnout and depressive symptoms, especially during an infectious outbreak on non-frontline health care workers, such as a psychiatrist. In instances, role psychiatrists other mental providers source psychological support to public frontline workers is indispensable valuable. This study aims assess their correlation, COVID-19 pandemic among psychiatry residents in Saudi Arabia. A total 121 out 150 Arabia completed Maslach Burnout Inventory Patient’s Health Questionnaire for assessment symptoms. symptoms were found 27.3%, another 27.3% reported having depression addition, 16.5% both significant relationship between them. Participants first 2 years training history receiving treatment past at higher risk. The need urgent increase investment services construct plan reduce this risk by developing preventative strategies prevent promote wellness more important than ever.
