摘要: A new and comprehensive load flow model for the thyristor controlled series compensator (TCSC) is presented in this paper. In state variable TCSC's firing angle, which combined with nodal voltage magnitudes angles of entire network a single frame-of-reference unified iterative solution through Newton-Raphson method. Unlike TCSC models available open literature, takes account loop current that exists under both partial full conduction operating modes. Also, proper care resonant points exhibited by fundamental frequency impedance. The algorithm exhibits quadratic or near-quadratic convergence characteristics, regardless size number devices.
