摘要: We present a conceptual model to explore the essential characteristics that affect product ramp-up performance in consumer electronics industry, specifically mobile phones sector. Our findings are based on data analysis within Nokia’s business group. Fast ramp-ups particularly critical for companies which short lifecycles prevail and development teams required work new projects than spending time with support. analyzes, extends structures results from other studies into five main characteristics: architecture, process, logistics system, manufacturing capability external environment. discuss factors describe represent these quantitative basis assess impact of different measures model.
